R1 15-19

YZF-R1 is the initials of the motorcycle with which Yamaha Motor engages in the sector of two super sports wheels with a displacement of 1000 cm³. Presented in preview at EICMA in Milan on September 15, 1997 and entered into production in 1998, it is the pride of the house of the three tuning forks, which presents it in contrast to other similar Japanese motorcycles such as the Suzuki GSX-R 1000, the Honda CBR 1000 RR and the Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R, as well as use it with partial changes compared to the road one for motorcycle competitions that see the participation of sports bikes derived from the series, such as Superbike and Superstock.
