Aprilia RSV4

Designed to be the premier motorcycle, on the road and on the track: right from the start it surprised by its aggressive lines and its compact constitution.

It features a 65-degree 4-cylinder V engine, never installed in a standard sports car, a chassis worthy of a 250 GP, combined with excellent drivability, the main characteristics of the Aprilia brand.

Thanks to the excellent dynamic balance obtained by the APRC, an adjustable traction system that adapts to tires and an electronic gearbox with maximum simplicity.

Without a doubt, the Aprilia jewel stands out for the great confidence it instills in the rider, putting him at ease and in the conditions to push to the limit, without excessive psychophysical stress.

As previously reported, the V4 65 'engine undoubtedly improves lubrication, receiving faster and more dynamic ratios that favor acceleration.

The exhaust is lightened and with a new shutter control system, this brings benefits to breathing and overall efficiency.

In detail, here are the innovations introduced by the Veneta house:

APRC: Aprilia Performance Ride Control, the electronic package that includes:

ATC: Aprilia Traction Control, the traction control that adjusts itself autonomously on different types of tire and adjusts it on the run, without closing the throttle, on 8 levels thanks to a practical joystick on the left handlebar;

AWC: Aprilia Wheelie Control, the wheelie control system adjustable on three levels;

ALC: Aprilia Launch Control, the starting control system for exclusive track use, adjustable on 3 levels;

AQS: Aprilia Quick Shift, or the electronic gearbox, for very quick changes without closing the throttle and without using the clutch.

Double display mode for the display on the dashboard: ROAD and RACE

New lighter and more efficient exhaust

Gear ratios optimized for maximum performance on the track

Engine optimized in lubrication

Lighter split three-spoke motorcycle alloy wheels

The incredible APRC system is undoubtedly the most important innovation to be found, despite this there are many reinterpretations that touch the engine, in order to perfect the already excellent mechanical and technical characteristics.

The longitudinal size of the engine is almost negligible, increasing the centralization of the masses in favor of a magnificent chassis.

The distribution itself is innovative, as the chains only move the intake rod shaft which sends the motion back to the exhaust shaft by means of a gear, which allows for extremely compact heads.

The theme of the suspensions is not to be underestimated, the Sachs upside down fork, has 43mm stems and offers the possibility of adjusting spring and hydraulics in understanding and extension.

Like the competition units, the fork offers the possibility of microthermic adjustments.

The instrumentation finds digital and analog components, characterized by a minimal design, contrallable in 3 comfortable keys. The electrical system is characterized by an extremely clean layout, facilitating maintenance operations. Curious is the golden color for ultralight rims.
