Casey Stoner
Casey Stoner was born on October 16, 1985, becoming champion in Moto GP with Ducati and Honda.
He began his career by competing in the Spanish championship and subsequently in the English one.
Thanks to the good results obtained, in 2001 he made his debut in the world championship, finishing 17 'in England and 12' in Australia.
The two placings guarantee him his first contract, stipulated with Lucio Cecchinello.
The following year he competed in 250 with Aprilia, totaling 68 points and a not too convincing twelfth place.
In 2003 and 2004 he went down in category, competing in 125 first with Aprilia and surely in KTM, ending the seasons placing eighth and fifth.
He gets the first pole positions and the first victories, his career begins to take off.

The following year he returned to 250, once again with the Cecchinello team but with an official Aprilia RSA 250.
End the season with an excellent second place, built with 254 points, behind only an explosive Pedrosa.
He has five wins (Portugal, China, Malaysia, Qatar and Turkey), a second place (Catalonia) and four third places (Great Britain, Czech Rep. Japan and Valencian Community).
2006 marks a fundamental year in the Australian's career, participating in the MotoGP as a Honda RC211V rider.
It alternates excellent performances with ruinous falls, proves impetuous, talented but not constant.
End the season in eighth place, not a bad result considering the many races not completed.
In 2007 he was officially hired by Ducati Marlboro, a team that saw in him a great potential not fully expressed, choosing him as Loris Capirossi's teammate.
This decision, together with the new engine designed by the engineer Filippo Preziosi, will be the right combination to bring an Italian house on the throne of the premier class.
His debut is the happiest, he triumphs in Losail in Qatar, snatching the success from a very fast Valentino Rossi.
He continues to win in Turkey, China, Catalonia, USA, Czech Republic and S. Marino, winning the title 3 days in advance.
He is currently the third youngest driver ever to win the maximum title, behind only Freddie Spender and Marc Marquez.
The following year, still riding the Desmosedici, accompanied by Marco Melandri, he always won the first night race in Qatar, preceding drivers of the caliber of Lorenzo, Pedrosa and Rossi.
He fails to express himself adequately in the next five tests, seeing Pedrosa move away in the standings.
The Spanish driver crashed at the Sachsenring in a pouring deluge, compromising his season following the physical ailments reported after the fall.
Stoner manages to get closer to the top of the standings, held by Rossi, clashing with him in Laguna Seca, in one of the most beautiful duels ever offered by MotoGP.
Despite the pole position comes the Italian keeps up with him, ending the race ahead of him.

After the fourth place obtained under a real typhoon in Indianapolis, he returns to the podium on the Japanese track of Motegi conquering a second place behind Rossi to which the Australian driver gives the world champion scepter with three races in advance.
2009, for its fourth season in MotoGP, starts with the victory in Qatar for the third consecutive year, then for three races it only gets placements, until the Italian Grand Prix arrives in which it manages to win it over Lorenzo and Rossi .
The victory at Mugello had a particular flavor for Ducati, having been the first ever of the Bolognese house in the "home" circuit (it is at Mugello that the house usually carries out tests for development), after 7 years of uncontested domination by Valentino Rossi.
After three stop races the Australian returns for the Portuguese Grand Prix, where he manages to conquer an excellent 2nd place. In the following race he won the Australian Grand Prix on Phillip Island on his home track and is also repeated in Malaysia at Sepang. In Valencia, the last race of the season, he falls on the reconnaissance lap; during the year he obtained three pole positions (Qatar, Australian Grand Prix and Valencia) and at the end of the season he was 4th with 209 points.
Same result obtained in 2010, accompanied by the announcement of the transition to HRC.
In 2011 the winning debut was accompanied by a fall in Jerez a few weeks later, due to a mistake by Rossi.
He continues to win many grand prizes (Le mans, Silverstone, Laguna Seca, Indianapolis and Misano Adriatico).
In Australia, on the day of his 26th birthday, starting from pole position and dominating a race at times wet and dry he wins the Grand Prix by measure and graduates for the second time world champion with two races still to be played.
On May 17, 2012, during the press conference of the French Grand Prix, he declares that at the end of the championship he will retire from the racing world. At Le Mans, after a wet duel for second place with Valentino Rossi, he ranks third. He gets pole position in Catalonia. He comes second in Britain.
He wins in Holland after starting from pole position. He gets another pole position in Germany, but during the race he falls on the last lap in an attempt to get closer to Daniel Pedrosa. He wins in the United States followed by Jorge Lorenzo and Daniel Pedrosa. He comes third in Malaysia. He wins for the sixth consecutive year in Australia after starting from pole position. Finish the season in 3rd place with 254 points.
In 2015 he returned to competitions, announcing his participation in the Suzuka 8 Hours for the Honda team. During the first laps while he was in first position, he fell fracturing his shoulder blade and tibia due to a malfunction of the accelerator found on his Honda CBR.
